يناهز عدد أفراد عائلة آل سكيرج من أحفاد سيدي عبد الرحمان سكيرج المزداد سنة 1830 : 150 فردا، منهم 73 من الذكور، بمعدل 49 في المائة. و مقارنة مع معدل الأجيال الستة الماضية فإن عدد الرجال أقل من عدد النساء في العائلة. كما أن هناك 26 في المائة ممن سنهم أقل من 25 سنة، و 58 في المائة بين 25 و 59 سنة و 16 في المائة فوق سن 62 سنة. و يظهر أن الطاقة البشرية لأسرة آل سكيرج ارتفعت بسرعة خلال الأجيال الثلاثة الأولى ثم ثبتت إلى الجيل الرابع ثم انخفضت بمهل إلى الجيل الخامس و بسرعة إلى يومنا هذا. وتَتْبَعُ طاقةُ الإنجاب هذه التغييرات بمعدل 3 لواحد ثم 6 لواحد ثم 3 ثم إلى أقل من واحد لواحد خلال الفترة الحالية و هذا انخفاض مهول لطاقة الإنجاب للعائلة. أما عن مدن الإقامة، فقد انتقلت الأسرة السكيرجية من فاس حيث كانت تقيم كلها إلى ما بين سلا و الدار البيضاء حيث يقيم حاليا أكثر من 58 في المائة من الأفراد. ك م ا يقطن محور فاس مكناس حوالي 14 و نصف في المائة من السكيرجيين، و طنجة 12 في المائة، وخارج الوطن 11 في المائة، و مراكش-الجديدة أقل من 4 في المائة. أما فيما يخص الدراسة، فالحاصلون على الدبلومات العليا يناهز 49 في المائة، و أصحاب الدراسات المتوسطة 33 في المائة و الأميون 14 في المائة معظمهم من نساء الأجيال 1 و 2 و 3 حيث لم يكن من المُتَدَاوَل إرسال الفتيات إلى المدرسة. و تحتوي العائلة على 5 شعراء كبار و 4 فنانين محنكين، كما تختص بما يناهز 14 في المائة من الزواج من أفراد العائلة، منها 9 في المائة من السكيرجيين، و5 في المائة من أقارب الأمهات غير السكيرجيين. و نشير إلى نسبة 7 و نصف في المائة من الزواج بالأوروبيات و الأميركيات و 18 في المائة من الطلاق، و هناك تغييرات حسب الأجيال و انخفاض واضح لنسبة الطلاق خلال الأجيال الخمسة الماضية.

The current manpower of Skiredj (grandsons of sidi abderrahmane skiredj (1830-1895) is of 150 people, including 73 male members, that is to say a sex ratio of almost 49 %. Par rapport à la moyenne des 6 générations, il y a actuellement moins d'hommes que de femmes dans la famille. Il y a aussi 26 % âgés de moins de 25 ans, 58 % de 25 à 59 ans et 16 % de plus de 62 ans. L'effectif des Skiredj a rapidement augmenté de la première à la 3 ème génération ; cette augmentation s'est affaiblie de la 3 ème à la 4 ème génération, puis a légèrement diminué à la 5 ème génération et a sévèrement chuté à la 6 ème génération. Le taux de prolifération masculine suit la variation de l'effectif des Skiredj, ce qui se traduit par une augmentation de 3 pour 1 à presque 6 pour 1 de la 1 ère à la 3 ème génération, et par une diminution de 5,6 à 3,3 pour 1, de la 3 ème à la 4 ème génération suivie d'une sévère chute de la 4 ème à la 6 ème génération. La prolifération a donc progressivement baissé ce dernier temps. Quant au lieu de résidence, la famille s'est déplacée de Fès (100 % en 1800) à Rabat- Casa, principalement (58,2 % résident actuellement entre Salé et Casa). La famille compte 4 poètes et 4 artistes. Elle se caractérise aussi par un taux de mariage entre cousins de 14 % (Cousins Skiredj : 9 % ; non Skiredj : 5 %). 7,5 % sont mariés à des Européens ou Américains ; 18 % ont connu au moins un divorce. Les variations entre générations sont assez importantes. Le taux de divorce a connu une baisse sensible de la 2 ème à la 6 ème génération.
